UPDATE 1-Enel to invest around 2.5 bln euros in broadband plan

MILAN, March 23 (Reuters) - Italian utility Enel said on Wednesday it planned to invest around 2.5 billion euros ($2.8 billion) to help develop a national ultrafast broadband network.
