SAO PAULO, Sept 16 (Reuters) - Viver Incorporadora &
Construtora SA filed for bankruptcy protection on Friday,
becoming the first listed Brazilian homebuilder ever to seek an
in-court reorganization amid a harsh recession, tough
refinancing conditions and slumping home prices.
