UPDATE 2-UK Stocks-Factors to watch on Sept. 1

Sept 1 (Reuters) - Britain's FTSE 100 index is seen opening up 16

points, or 0.2 percent, on Thursday, according to financial bookmakers, with

futures up 0.39 percent ahead of the cash market open.
