UPDATE 3-Chevron profit miss drags down stock, Dow Jones index

Jan 27 (Reuters) - Chevron Corp reported a quarterly

profit on Friday that fell short of analyst expectations,

pulling down the No. 2 U.S. oil producer's share price and with

it, the Dow Jones industrial average index.
